I am at my wits end on a problem that I am having with my CASE 1835B G188 . Hi everyone, I have a new 1835B. I have never worked it that hard. There are many small issues I have. All charge lights were on when I got it. I changed. If the ground drive works but not the loader hydraulics then it is a problem within the pump as there is a loader pump and a hydro charge pump in the same housing. It is possible for the shaft between the two hydro pumps to fail as well. I have a case 1835b that I purchased this fall I knew it needed work, but now I'm at a stand still. Before I did anything to it, it had a bad leak, but I couldn't track it down. I have since replaced almost every hose underneath and replaced both drive motors and filters.
I have a Case 1835 Diesel that I have owned for some 15 Years. Its been a good machine all I have done is change Oil and Filters, one drive Motor, and couple of Starter solenoids. When I got the machine the Hyds sounded terrible and the Oil looked even worse.
The drive train on my mid 80's Case 1835B gas Uniloader has just started acting up. The symptoms are only on the left side and in the forward direction. At an idle, the wheels on the left side will not go forward, but will go in reverse, the right side will go both ways. 1) Take out of drive, placing it in neutral. 2) Drain remaining fuel. 2a) Test fuel lines? 2b) Replace spark plugs? 3) Change engine oil & filter. 4) Reinstall radiator and replace fluid. On a skid steer it is even harder to field adjust the advance or timing to get it right. This pump isn't an expensive repair, if someone told you it was then you talked to the wrong person. Send it out and Have peace of mind knowing it is 100% ready to rock and roll.
I have a case 1835b deisel skid loader and i am having some issues with it. I have changed all of the fuel filters, drained the fuel from the tank, and even put a new fuel pump on it. It will rev up hard at the start but very soon it will only run about 1/4 throttle at full throttle.
Hey, I have a no drive issue (case 1835b), had a faulty wheel motor (broken spline), so replaced motor. Still no good, swapped hoses from the right motor just to make sure, new motor is fine. Wheels on LH side spin freely, chains on and fine. I ask because the 1835B diesels I've been around have all had problems with the starter solenoid not getting enough power from the factory wiring system to activate the starter. It is a combination of too small a wire gauge, too many connections, and too .
