Perhaps it is time to consider a mini-excavator, which will be many times more capable than the backhoe on an L2501. The L2501 is a really nice rig. In a perfect world one would have a mini, midi and full size (up to a 200 class) for the farm or ranch. My daughter learned on a midi JD 160 on the farm and a new mini Takeuchi.
