Based on our research, we found the SUNWARD SWE18UF to be the cheapest new mini excavator with a price tag of $29,950. However, if you are ok with purchasing a used model, the cheapest mini excavator is about $15,000.

In this video the boys and I build a snow pusher for the skid steer I built a grapple utility bucket from components for a utility grapple bucket originally designed for small skid steer loaders that our company produces. I built my own quick attach plates after getting the top clevis and JD dealer.
I am looking for any ideas on how to fab up a snow pusher for my skid steer. I have a large light material bucket all ready and would like to fab up some wings or extension from the sides of the bucket to make it 10' wide and scoop up more snow with it and and take a bigger swath when using it. I'm thinking of building a snow plow set-up for my skid steer because I'm tired of plowing with my bucket. The bucket works, but I think a regular snow plow blade would work much better. Here are my thoughts : first buy a quick attachment plate to mount the plow frame onto, I'm thinking 5/16" or 3/8" thick. Started my snowplow project this past week and got chance to use it in 3” of heavy wet snow. Plow is 6ft wide, made out of two old 43” Deere plows, skid steer plate and some scrap steel. Traded garden tractor stuff for the plows. I really want to make my own skid steer plow and add the features that I want. I have a few questions however: What is the best way to go with down pressure? I want to make the plow semi rigid like on a spring or coil over strut. Or just make it hang on a chain? Ideas? And for all you guys with skid steer plows two things.
