If your 440 has 2 steering levers (left & right) then it is clutch controlled with variable speed belt driven, exactly the same as a JD24. If your 440 has single lever T bar control it is hydrostatic drive and is same as a JD24A with exception of the engine. Is the hydraulic system on that 440 pretty bulletproof? all lines are intact. All cylinders are there as well intact. I took a battery and turned the motor over hooked a wire from the distributor straight to the battery. Looking at a 441 Mustang skid loader.Uni tach adapter, uni tach bucket, uni tach pallet forks, rebuilt Ford 1.6 industrial engine.Says around 1000-1200 lifting capacity. 2000-2200 tip weight.
