My New Holland Ls185.b skid steer uses a "resisting diode" encapsulated in black rubber that looks like a 2-prong trailer connector about the size of a household lamp's electrical plug. I replaced the dealer-only part once before at , and a week for them to find the problem.

The dealer reached out to MTD and he relayed MTDs reluctance to try to help me out because I'm not the orig owner of the machine :( Turns out there are six grade 5 bolts holding the differential planetary gears and four had backed out (no loc-tite or torqued correctly?).
The Worksaver model 300 fits cat 0/1 subcompacts, has 30" augers in 6", 9", and 12". There is a Downforce kit available for their 3-point augers, but you will need rear hydraulic remotes for this. You probably don't need a Downforce kit unless you have some very hard clay. In that case, the torque on the 3-point will begin to be the limiting issue.
