I’m seriously considering a grapple accumulator for my skid steer but would really like to have the bales on edge. Also thought about a hoelscher. A 4 bale grapple to fit a skid loader, like a Bobcat 753 would be a good match for that size accumulator. That would be a good setup for me and use tractor and skid steer that I already had. Great pictures of your setup. I’ve owned several mulching units. Started with a skid steer and fecon mulcher back in 2013. I absolutely hated running it. Yes it worked for field edges but you couldn’t get high enough to actually make a difference with low hanging branches. 100hp is bare minimum, high flow is a must and performance is still lackluster. If you are a contractor trying to move around a muddy lot or finish grading you cannot beat a track skid. If you are in muddy conditions you can't beat them.
