I do barn cleaning, snow removal, and fencing in my weekend skidsteer buisness and this skid fits alot of the bills. Ultimately we found there's really no place for a skid steer on our farm. But the consensus for all three of us is that if we were to get one, it will be a JCB/Volvo on tracks.

I love the side door and make it much safer to get in and out. I just got it last summer so I don't know much about repairs and how much stuff costs for it yet. I test Drove a JCB 165 Robot. stability, lift, reach and I even say visibility its the same as any other radius lift loader. Probably the number one comment on a jobsite about my JCB 165 HF skid steer is it's capability for it's size. I have about sixteen hundred hours on it, I bought it with seven on the meter. It's only had one visit to the dealer and that was for early servicing.
How come the single armed skid steer didn't catch on? JCB and Volvo are the only manufacturers I know that make them. What went wrong? Despite its safety benefits however i still favour the conventional ones but that is just me though. Why are the regular ones better?
