I arrived at job site this morning to find my auxiliary switch no longer powering my grapples on my cat 287b Just appears to have gone dead. Have a problem with my 287B (ZSA01752) that the Park Brake light and Arm Rest light (on the top left cluster) don’t illuminate. This is what I’ve observed: When I turn the ignition on (not to start position) all the LEDs from the information cluster flash and stay on for a moment (I guess I would describe this as a ‘start up check’). Just purchased a 2007 Cat 287b XPS machine upgrade from a 2003 277 model wondered if anyone has a operations or service manual. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello, I have a 2015 CAT 259D and need to remove the front door and bypass the door latch switch in order to run a backhoe attachment. Is there a wiring harness plug or something needed to do this (and reverse the process when I reinstall the door)? What Per Eriksson posted 2 above is exactly what I just found on an old John Deere 280B Skid Steer. The piston seal in the wheel traction motor was leaking the brake pressure to case drain. If leaking to case drain brakes will maybe hold for only short while then come back on. If a live wire from fuse panel releases the brakes, simple wiring . Need help trouble shooting my skidsteer left track will not move forward or backwards? Any suggestion would help. The bucket and boom hydraulics are working and so is the other track. Thier are two big hydraulic hoses which I assume are the forward and reverse siurce for the drive. What do.

The machine has worked fine up until this point , i will try to explain the best i can. I have a 2005 Caterpillar 277B that I recently bought that came with a bucket. Just over the weekend I bought a brand new grapple and went to hook it up and I have no auxiliary hydraulics.
