I just got a Bobcat Skid Steer. It is an old Bobcat 632 with a replacement diesel engine in it. The machine has some leaks that I yet need to find and fix. My major concern is that using the machine is like riding a bronco. It is a 4 tire machine (not tracks). Turning causes the machine to jump and buck like crazy on both blacktop and gravel. A user reports a jerky motion on his Gehl 4835 skid steer and asks for advice. Other users suggest checking the motor mounts, the drive belts and the pulleys.
Lift the cab and look at the alloy blocks that connect to the pump. Ensure they are tight. If they are loose, the steering will jump all over.
