Is there a wiring harness plug or something needed to do this (and reverse the process when I reinstall the door)? It should be a simple open/closed switch. Sometimes CAT likes to be fancy and have a sensing switch but doubt it. If you need to bypass it you can complete the circuit by connecting the two wires, or by tricking the sensor into seeing the door.
