For some reason skid steers aren't great at pushing snow, I haven't figured out why yet. Even when my tires were new, the traction on the machine was less than my truck, yet the weights are about the same and the skid steer has full time four wheel drive. You could fit a skid steer in there, but would spend lots of time stacking the snow. We average 250" a winter, and not much melting between storms.
